Overview

LMI is seeking a project manager/senior enterprise architect at our client site at Scott AFB. The goal of this project will be to assist the U.S. Transportation Command and its components (Air Mobility Command (AMC) and Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC)) in its enterprise, business and solution architecture goals. Under the guidance of the assigned government lead, this role will accomplish day-to-day task management from key stakeholders. This position will also be in charge of the LMI team as a sub to our prime on this contract.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement best-practice solutions to client requirements
  • Integrate strategy, business, and technology planning methods with an ability to understand, analyze, justify, and communicate the solution of EA problems.
  • Provide enterprise, business and solution architecture support to develop and oversee the technical blueprint, assist in the translation of functional capability into the functional and technical architecture for that capability, help lead the definition of the EA framework, and provide governance support over the implementation and management of that framework.
  • Provides technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation.
  • You will also be in charge of of the LMI team.


Qualifications

Miminim:
  • Bachelors in Computer Sciences, Information Management or related field (Masters Degree in similar field is acceptable substitute)
  • Must possess an active Secret Clearance, for which you must be a US Citizen
  • Demonstrated experience with process improvement/process modeling projects
  • 5 or more years experience with architectural frameworks
  • Ability to organizational mission and strategies to IT solutions
  • Strong knowledge of DoDAF or FEAC
  • Familiarity of other architecture modeling techniques and tools
  • Expertise with Microsoft tools to include MS Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Sharepoint
  • Working knowledge of Air Mobility Command, its organization, purpose and structure.
  • Expertise within a mobility environment focused on transportation, communication, command and control, or finance
  • Proven ability to lead a team including project budgeting and on time deliverables
  • Experience with modern technologies including AI and MI which the current client is interesting in learning and integrating into its EA capabilities

Desired:
  • EA certification (e.g., Enterprise Architecture Certification (CEA), Associate Certified Enterprise Architect (ACEA))
  • Experience establishing enterprise functional and technical architecture design patterns and technical reference architecture and providing subject matter expertise to implement governance of that framework in the federal space.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to compose, write and edit a variety of general business correspondence, management reports, technical presentations, training material, proposals and position papers.
  • Must be comfortable interacting with key leadership, be articulate, and be proactive.
  • Must be able to work in a highly charged and fast-paced environment to prioritize and complete assigned tasks based on guidance from senior leadership. Interacts with staff at all levels and across organizational teams.
