Technical Program Manager, Media Intelligence and Analytics

As part of Meta's Communications team, this role will provide successful definition, implementation and delivery of social media measurement frameworks, programs, and related data-centric projects that require cross-functional collaboration and interdependencies across teams and organizations.

Technical Program Manager, Media Intelligence and Analytics Responsibilities

  • Creating and maintaining data pipelines, social media metrics, and measurement frameworks for purposes of institutional learning and performance targeting
  • Data governance, quality control, and establishing systems to enforce accuracy and consistency in data collection, analysis, and communication
  • Cross-functional coordination, strategic planning, interaction with executive level management, complex issue resolution, excellent communication and team building skills
  • Manage escalations with company leadership given specified requirements
  • Oversight of information gathering and documentation, time estimating, request tracking, communications across multiple organizational levels
  • XFN coordination among analytic and business leadership, speaking truth to power, and upholding quality standards
  • Handling urgent matters that are responsive to changing news cycles, PR environment, and leadership requests


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or research-oriented field such as engineering, data science, social science or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or scientific research.
  • 8+ years of work experience with a focus on program management.
  • Experience with complex data analysis and research.
  • Experience managing a team and coaching individual contributors.
  • Project management experience including stakeholder interaction, implementation, and planning.
  • Experience exercising judgment in a changing environment and managing competing priorities.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a technical field, business management, or the social sciences.
  • Experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or media.
