IMMEDIATELY HIRING! CLINICAL EDUCATION MANAGER FULL-TIME Opportunity!!

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under general direction, oversees Clinical and Education Services activities for the Operation. Represents AMR to local communities, medical and training institutions, state department of health services, and other related agencies. Responsible for creation, implementation, and tracking of education programs and continuous quality improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Oversee the development and coordination of trainings, orientation programs, and other methods to promote a system of continuing education, within guidelines and SOP's of AMR.
    • Supervise the Clinical Education staff, as well as ongoing management of the Field Training Officer (FTO) program.
    • Manage American Heart Association Training Center as the Training Center Coordinator adhering to AHA policies and procedures. Provide supervision and support for instructors and contracted Training Sites.
    • Conduct clinical quality assurance investigations immediately upon receiving information regarding a possible protocol or standard of care violation.
    • Identify, develop, and implement quality improvement (QI) programs.
    • Mentor employees, conduct performance evaluations, counsel and provide remediation, and provide performance improvement plans to assigned personnel.
    • Responsible for compliance with and enforcement of company/department policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Minimum of three years current Nursing experience or pre-hospital EMS experience preferred.
    • Minimum of three years of AHA, NAEMT and/or AAP Teaching Experience preferred.
    • Minimum One (1) year management experience preferred.
    • Current RN Licensure or Paramedic/EMT Certification REQUIRED.
    • Bachelor's degree in nursing or education preferred.
    • Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS Instructor Status, NAEMT PHTLS Instructor Status, AMALS Instructor Status and AHA Regional Faculty or Training Center Faculty Status, obtained within 90 days of hiring.
