Team Intro
We are a progressive procurement organization pushing the boundaries of traditional procurement reputation and methodologies. We are looking for individuals who can think outside the box to achieve company objectives regarding value and partnerships with our suppliers. Our organization moves quickly, and you must too. As a Strategic Sourcing Manager within the TikTok U.S. Data Security Procurement group, you will be responsible for establishing and executing sourcing strategies and plans for our Corporate Real Estate department. Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager, you will work closely with our internal Real Estate stakeholders, the broader Global Procurement team, and brokers and suppliers alike to drive competitive category strategies with the aim to reduce cost, while ensuring perfect execution and risk mitigation across the USDS enterprise.

In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change at any time.

Responsibilities
- You will focus on driving adoption and efficient use of the source-to-pay process through system optimization and proactive partner outreach along with sourcing management, contract management, and negotiation support where applicable.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with the business units and internal support organizations ,and externally with suppliers.
- Establish Service Level Agreements with internal customers and Key Performance Indicators for the Organization to meet annual objectives and long-term strategies.
- Define processes, develop procurement policies, and contribute to digital transformation initiatives.
- Manage the full strategic sourcing life-cycle of complex or high-risk Corporate Real Estate and Construction strategic sourcing initiatives, from partnering with Subject Matter Expert (SME) teams to defining scope and identifying requirements to conducting competitive bidding (RFx) initiatives to vendor evaluation and negotiation of pricing and contract terms.
- Partner with the appropriate internal teams (Real Estate, Legal, Insurance, Finance, Tax, etc.) in ensuring agreement terms minimize risk and properly protect enterprise interests.
- Design roadmap that forecasts and prioritizes strategic sourcing project demand based on collected business intelligence, data analysis, and industry insights.
- Lead formulation and implementation of the Real Estate and Construction category strategies and present spend trends, sourcing opportunities, supplier consolidation initiatives and market information.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- The ideal candidate should possess excellent time management and negotiation skills, a deep understanding of Corporate Real Estate & Construction trends and emerging technologies, and a proven track record of successful vendor management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Management, Business, Economics, Corporate Real Estate or other applicable experience.
- 4+ years of strategic sourcing and negotiation experience within the field of Corporate Real Estate, Construction or Facility Management.
-Willing to travel domestically 40% of the time as our stakeholders and sites are distributed across the globe.
- Understanding of corporate real estate principles, concepts, legal terms specific to Corporate Real Estate is considered an asset. Self-directed, able to work independently, as well as work in a team-orientated and fast paced environment and prioritize your own workload.
- Knowledge of contract management principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation strategies in vendor management.

- Result driven individual capable of taking responsibility and delivering results, overcoming obstacles and setbacks, and making decisions within the scope of the role without management validation and approval.
- Capable of navigating through ambiguous situations. Ability to work collaboratively and support multiple simultaneous initiatives, requiring frequent communication, organization and time management. Must have strong problem solving, strategic and analytical capability and demonstrated ability to influence and lead others.
